Hi Learned Members
Let me introduce to you three ways to pick out the prominent house in your chart :
1st Technique----------
This was introduced by Sarajit Poddar from Sanjay Rath's camp. It is actually supported by the classics via a framework. He then worked out the flesh.
I will just give you the explanation in English. If you want the classic with the Sanskrit verses that support this technqiue, go to Sarajit Poddar's website.
The 2nd house in the Navamsa chart when superimposed on the Rasi, would indicate the house where you would be prominent. What is the logic behind this?
Navamsa is the chart of luck and the 5th house in Navamsa indicate the required luck in the future like when you are in the adult or past the middle age. 10th to the 5th house is the sign style where you would have the required luck. This turns out to be the 2nd house to Navamsa. Superimpose this house onto the Rasi which indicates the area of activity where you should focus. That house in the Rasi is where you would be prominent.
2nd Technique-------------
This technqiue is called the Blue Lotus technique and was introduced to Saptarishis June 2010 Magazine edition.
Step 1------
Memorise the table below.
Type Of Signs Signs P Pushkara Navamsas
Fire Signs Aries, Leo, Sagi Li & Sg
Earthy Signs Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn Ta & Pi
Airy Signs Gemini, Libra, Aquarius Ta & Pi
Watery Signs Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces Cn & Vi
Find out your Ascendant sign and note the correspondent Pushkara Navamsa.
Step 2-------
Use these two signs found in Step (1) above and find out which houses it overlay in the Rasi chart.
Step 3-------
The 2 lords of the houses above and the two said houses will dominate one's life.
Given the right dasas and if they form Yogas, one would become prominent in society in those areas of life ruled by these two houses.
Mud would be slung at you and then you would emerge as a Lotus.
3rd Technique----------------
Your Atmakaraka in Navamsa called the Karakamsa when superimposed by sign onto the Rasi chart, that house is where you need to fulfill yourself in life. Hence you would put in our maximum effort into that sphere of activity ruled by that house.
Now let's use my chart as an example.
My birth details are :
22nd June 1962
Latitude 1 degree 16 minutes North
Longtitude 103 degrees 51 minutes East
Time 7 hours 30 minutes East of Greenwich (that was in 1962, in 1983 Singapore became 8 hours East of Greenwich)
Using the 3 techniques above, it all points to my 3rd house. That house is the house of writing with Virgo on it. It is 6th to Mars ruling logic, 5th to Merucry ruling intelligence, 3rd to Rahu meaning powerful, 3rd to Venus meaning strategy and 8th to Jupiter meaning huge benefits something akin to unearned income falling onto my lap. It is 4th to the Sun meaning I like to disseminate my ideas (3rd house rules ideas).
Mabye I should think of taking writing as a profession
